As I conduct my own research I accumulate resources that may be of value to others as well. I have a list of resources currently in my possession listed below. I would be happy to do lookups for people to the extent that I can. However, please be reasonable in your requests, and provide as much detail as you can.

If you need a lot of information from any of these resources I strongly recommend that you purchase the item yourself. These are all excellent resources and we as genealogists need to support the authors/developers.

Campbell County, Tennessee, USA: A History of Places, Faces, Happenings, Traditions, and Things, by Miller McDonald. (Unindexed)
This is a three-volume set containing a tremendous amount of information on the history of Campbell County and its residents. The chapters are divided by regions within the county, so if you know where within Campbell County your ancestors resided I am much more likely to have success finding them.

Another nice history of Campbell County.

Speedwell (Through 200 Years), by Bonnie Page. (Indexed)
A nice history of the Speedwell area of Claiborne and Campbell Counties. Many different people contributed their reminicences and many area families are discussed.

The Civil War & Campbell County, Tennessee, by Gregory K. Miller. (Indexed)
A nice overview of the role of Campbell Countians in the Civil War. Appendixes include lists of soldiers and their units.

Call Me Hillbilly, by Gladys Trentham Russell (Unindexed)
A biographical reminiscence by the author of her life in the Smoky Mountains until families were forced out to make way for the national park that followed. The book contains lots of genealogical information related to the families in the Sugarlands, Elkmont, Fighting Creek and Forks-of-the-River area of Sevier County.
