1. George {Gotlieb-Gotlip} Cutlip was born in 1711 in Germany (perhaps Saxe-Gotha) OR Switzerland. He died before 1780 in Augusta Co., VA. George immigrated on 17 Oct 1749 to Charleston, SC. He served in the military as a Sergeant in the PA Militia (Major James Burd's Co., First Regiment of Foot) 03 Mar 1756 - 02 May 1757 in the French & Indian Wars.
