Graydon was raised in Ovandoo and Missoula, Montana.  Ethel 
grew up in Bernice and Missoula.  Graydon served in the Army in
World War I and was stationed in France.  After his discharge
he was employed at the Doney Lumber Camp in Sly, Montana.
After his marriage to Ethel Doney, he continued to work in the
lumber industry until his death in an auto accident.   Ethel
went to work for the postal service in Arlee, Montana where she
worked until her retirement in 1966.
