Hello,

I hope you had a nice vacation.

Were you able to find any information about the VanTine family?

Some other information for you: Alfred C. and Emma A. Durkee VanTine had five children in Sandusky, Ohio:

(1) Mary VanTine (Nov. 7, 1867 - Aug. 4, 1926) married Charles Yerkes and lived in Illinois. (These are my great-grandparents.)

(2) Julia VanTine (May 6, 1869 - Nov. 18, 1918) married Albert VanTine and moved to Calif.)

(3) Charles Foster VanTine (July 20, 1871 - July 1873) is buried in Sandusky, Ohio.

(4) Georgia Catterman VanTine (July 11, 1875 - June 6, 1946) may have married.

(5) Antoinette VanTine (July 27, 1877 - May 10, 1973) married Steven Gentry and lived in St. Louis.

We believe that the family moved to Illinois in the fall of 1877 or the spring of 1778.

I believe that James VanTine's father may have been Charles VanTine who migrated from New York to Ohio with his son's family and died in Huron County, Ohio, around 1828. Anything that you could supply will be much appreciated.
Thank you,

Paul McKowen
