Mrs. Theodore Friebus Dead

Mrs. Theodore Friebus, 72 years old, a native of the District, died suddenly Tuesday night at her home, 1439 U street northwest. Death was due to acute indigestion. Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, and will be conducted by the Rev. John T. Ensor, of Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Friebus was the daughter of Dr. Van Tyne and Mrs. Mary Van Tyne. She was married to Mr. Friebus May 11, 1865. Just a week ago the couple celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding. Besides her husband, Mrs. Friebus leaves a son, Theodore Friebus, jr.; Florence M. Friebus and Paul Friebus Grove.

Mrs. Theodore Friebus, 72 years old, a native of the District, died suddenly Tuesday night at her home, 1439 U Street Northwest. Death was due to acute indigestion. Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, and will be conducted by the Rev. John T. Ensor, of Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Friebus was the daughter of Dr. Van Tyne and Mrs. Mary Van Tyne. She was married to Mr. Friebus May 11, 1865. Just a week ago the couple celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding. Besides her husband, Mrs. Friebus leaves a son, Theodore Friebus, Jr., a daughter, Mrs. Paul Grove, and three grandchildren, Reginald Theodore Friebus, Florence M. Friebus, and Paul Friebus Grove.
