Harry Moore Van Tine of Fishkill-on-the-Hudson was married last night to Miss Florence Elsie Glover, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Guion Glover, at the home of the bride's parents, 164 West 130th Street. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Charles L. Goodell.

The bride wore her mother's wedding gown of white satin and duchesse lace, Empire style, and the bride's sister, Miss Beatrice Glover, who was maid of honor, wore a dress of white lace over pink.

Ralph Jones was the bridegroom's best man, and the ushers were Shenrach A. Craidland and John C. Glover. Mis Bertrice Meyers and Miss Manon Glover were the flower girls.

Rebecca A. VanTine, 65, of Frazer Township, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, in Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Allegheny Valley Hospital, after a brief illness, although she had been in failing health for two years. She was born July 23, 1942, in Harrison Township, daughter of the late James A. Glowatski, who died in 1970, and Margaret C. "Peg" (Collins) Glowatski, who died in 1989. She had been a resident of Frazer Township since 1985, prior to that, she had lived in Elkhart, Ind. Rebecca was a homemaker and member of Holy Martyrs Church in Tarentum. After graduation from high school in East Deer in 1960, she attended Allegheny Valley Hospital Libratory Technician program and received her certificate of completion. Rebecca enjoyed reading, crocheting, television, but she especially enjoyed her family. Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, whom she married Jan. 6, 1962, Kenneth C. VanTine; son, Kenneth D. (Kimberly A.) VanTine, of New Kensington; daughter, Shawn M. (William C.) Baird, of Kiski Township; three grandchildren, Brandon D. and Ryan D. VanTine, of New Kensington, and Kenneth C. Baird, of Kiski Township; three stepgrandchildren, Jonathan W. Baird, of Kepple Hill, Timothy R. Baird of Dayton, Pa. and Jacob T. Baird, of Kiski Township; and a loving uncle who has resided with Rebecca and Kenneth since 1985, Peter J. "Pete" Collins. She is also survived by several other uncles, aunts and cousins. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, where a blessing service will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday with a Christian Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Martyrs Church with the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Brackenridge.

- Rebecca A. VanTine, 65, of Frazer Township, formerly of Elkhart, Ind., died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 6, 2008) in Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison Township.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Duster Funeral Home Inc., 10th Ave., Tarentum, Pa. A blessing service will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and will be followed by a Christian Funeral Mass in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Aaron J. Kriss will officiate, with burial in Prospect Cemetery, Brackenridge.

She was born July 23, 1942, in Harrison Township to James A.
and Margaret C. "Peg" (Collins) Glowatski. She married Kenneth C. VanTine on Jan. 6, 1962.

He survives along with one son, Kenneth D. (Kimberly A.) VanTine of New Kensington; one daughter, Shawn M. (William C.) Baird of Kiski Township; two grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and an uncle, Peter J. "Pete" Collins, who lived with Mr. and Mrs. VanTine since 1985.

Mrs. VanTine graduated from high school in East Deer in 1960 and attended Allegheny Valley Hospital Laboratory Technician program. She received her certificate of completion. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, television and her family. She lived in Elkhart from 1966 to 1985.
