Engineer Feared That He Would Lose His Run
Van Tyne, for 25 Years With N.Y. Central, Was on Verge of Breakdown --Like Brand-New Man Since Taking Tanlac.

There is probably not a better known or better liked engineer on the New York Central Railroad than Arthur L. Van Tyne, 136 E. Lafayette Ave., Syracuse, who now has the passenger run between Syracuse and Buffalo. He has been with the road for twenty-five years and has a legion of friends in both cities. Like thousands of other people, Mr. Van tyne has been a sufferer from stomach trouble. His story of how this long-standing trouble was overcome will be of interest not only to those who know him but also to those who have complaints similar to his.

Mr. Van Tyne says: "I tried twenty years to find something that would put a stop to indigestion and had no success, so I lost faith in medicine. I kept seeing, however, where people I knew were being helped by Tanlac, so I thought I would try it, but I didn't have much hopes. I certainly was in a bad fix and seemed to be getting a little worse every day. What I ate did me no good apparently, and after every meal I was bothered with a heavy, distressed feeling and sometimes felt like I was going to smother.

"Frequently my food soured and would come back in my mouth tasting like vinegar. My sleep was broken, and after a restless night I would have to use all my will power to force myself to take my run. I finally got worried and was afraid I would have to give up my cab for good, but I am might glad to say Tanlac has changed all that and that I am as sound as a dollar and feel as strong as I did twenty-five years ago.

"When I come in from a run now I'm fresh and feel fine, which shows the big difference Tanlac made in me, for I used to drag myself home and go to bed. It took Tanlac only a few weeks to put my stomach in order, and I eat everything now, and my digestion is perfect. The three bottles I have taken seem to have made me over.

"I know there are lots of people in Syracuse who are enthusiastic about Tanlac, but there isn't one that is a bigger booster than I am, and if anyone wants to come to my home I will be glad to him about my case and what I know this wonderful medicine will do."

Tanlac is sold in Syracuse by Powers Drug Co. and F. J. Nye, C. W. Wallace, Lafayette, and Myers Bros. Drug Co., Oneida, under the personal direction of a special Tanlac representative and by the leading druggist in every town. -- Adv.
