Carol,

I noticed on your web page that you had information on Phebe J. Moores Van
Tine. I am a descendant of her sister Jane Moores McNitt. I was surprised
to learn that several of her children settled in Ottawa County, OH as a
couple of Jane's children also settled in Ottawa County. Do you know of any
genealogists who are researching the family of Phebe J. Moores Van Tine? If
so, I would like to get in touch with them.

Miss Van Tyne Weds William H. Morris

A quiet home wedding took place Friday night when Miss Emily Van Tyne became the bride of William H. Morris of Norfolk, Va. The ceremony was performed at 8:30 o'clock by the Rev. George H. Haigh, pastor of the Lafayette Methodist Episcopal church, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Van Tyne, 136 East Lafayette avenue.

Miss Mae Morris attended Miss Van Tyne as maid of honor and Marshall Van Tyne, brother of the bride, acted as best man for Mr. Morris

The bride wore a gown of electric blue taffeta and Miss Morris was gowned in a combination of black satin and white crepe de chine.

Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served to the immediate family and a few intimate friends who had witnessed the simple ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Morris left Saturday morning for Norfolk, where they will make their home. Mr. Morris is the construction foreman for the telephone company in that city.
