SERVICES HELD FRIDAY FOR WILLIAM VANTINE

Funeral services for William Vantine of North Hero were held at his late home in that village last Friday afternoon. Rev. William Ingham officiated. The bearers at the home were George Phelps and Bay Mooney of South Hero; Seward Vantine of Grand Isle; and Herman Atkins, James Watson and Hobart Knight of North Hero. Interment was at Ingraham.

Mr. Vantine is survived by his widow; three sons, Harvey of Massena, Ernest of Albany and Walter of North Hero; and. three grandchildren, Allen, Joyce and Judith Vantine. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Mary Mooney of Burlington, Vt.; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Vantine of Milton, Vt.; Mr. and Mrs: Harvey Vantine of Massena; Ernest Vantine of Albany; Mrs. Minnie Eastman of Massena; Mr. and Mrs. George Phelps and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mooney of South Hero. Mrs. Mattie Lester and Mrs. Effie Johnson of Scotia attended the services at the grave.
