Deceased Name: OBITUARIES: Irving P. Zugermayer, Army veteran HILLSBOROUGH -- Irving P. Zugermayer, 92, died Saturday (July 1, 2006) in Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough. Iring was born in Egg Harbor, grew up in Somerville and lived in Wayne and Milbridge, Maine, before moving to Hillsborough three years ago.
He was a sanitary engineer who worked for the Somerville, Morristown and Jersey City sewage treatment plants.
Irving was an Army veteran, serving during World War II as a master sergeant.

He was a member of the Masons in Milbridge, Maine.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence (Vantine) Zugermayer, in 2002.

Surviving are his daughters and their husbands, Elizabeth and San {Sam} Van Nest of Hillsborough, Patricia and John Ramsey of Bound Brook and Donna and Bob Kellogg of Three Rivers, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, Hillsborough.

Memorial contributions may be made in Irving's name to the American Cancer Society, 600 First Ave., Raritan, NJ 08869.

MILBRIDGE, Maine - Mae Zugermayer, 87, died Wednesday (Oct. 16, 2002) at a Machias, Maine, hospital. She was born in Liberty Corner on Aug. 29, 1915, the daughter of Albert and Florence Stevens Van Tine. She was a former resident of Somerville.

Her husband said of her, "Dolly was a nifty old gal who baked the best apple pie you'd ever eaten."

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Irving Zugermayer of Milbridge, Maine three daughters, Elizabeth Van Nest and husband, Samuel, of Hillsborough Patricia Ramsey and husband, John, of Bound Brook and Donna Kellogg and husband, Robert, of Three Rivers, Calif. seven grandchildren three great-grandsons a sister, Helen Archibald, of Somerville and several nieces and nephews.

She will also be remembered by her extended family, Laurie and Bruce Hall and their daughter, Laura Lee, and Ann Snowdeal, all of Milbridge, Maine.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Main Street, Milbridge, Maine. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Milbridge. There are no visiting hours.

OBITUARY

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Services will be scheduled for Fred M. Van Tine, 76, of Blakeslee, formerly of Iselin, N.J., who died here Sunday in the Pocono Medical Center. Arrangements are by the Lanterman and Allen Funeral Home, East Stroudsburg.

Mr. Van Tine was a sheet metal worker with the Adams Sheet Metal Co. in Newark, N.J., before retiring in 1986.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

Mr. Van Tine was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association Union Local 25 and the American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert.

Born in Great Kills, Staten Island, he lived in Iselin before moving to Blakeslee, Pa.

Surviving are Ethel, his wife of 54 years; sons, Fred M. Jr. and William; a brother, Francis, and two grandchildren.
