Deceased Name: FRANK L. VANTINE Services for Frank L. VanTine, 93, of 61 Chapel St., Seneca Falls, who died Saturday at Taylor-Brown Memorial Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sanderson Funeral Home, the Rev. Peter J. Crego officiating. Burial will be in Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls.

Calling hours will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be preformed at 7:30 p.m. today, with an American Legion service following at 8 p.m.

Mr. VanTine was born in Athens, Pa. He was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 47 years, retiring in 1962 as assistant post master.

Mr. VanTine was a charter member of the Seneca County Council Office of Aging. He was also a charter member of the Senior Citizens Action Council and Seneca Seniors.

He was a life member of the Kirk Casey Post 366, American Legion, and a past master and 70-year member of the Pocahontas Lodge 211, F&AM. He was also a 70-year member of the Salem Town Chapter 173 Royal Arch Masons. Mr. VanTine was a past director of music at the Congregational Church for over 50 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Mary A., a niece, and two nephews.
Contributions may be made to North Seneca Ambulance, Seneca Falls.

Pioneer Stone Quarry Owner of Berea Passes Away in Pittsburg.

Berea, O., Aug. 25.--Francis Van Tyne, who died in Pittsburg today, was for many years on of Berea's most prominent citizens. He was seventy-two years of age and spent nearly all of them in and around this village, where he had large stone quarry interests, being associated with E. Stearns. Some two years ago he went to Pittsburg to spend his remaining years. Mr. Van Tyne was a prominent Mason and they will have charge of the funeral here on Wednesday.
