This is George Thomas Allgood, son of George Washington and Lucy Vantine Allgood and Lillie Lesher Allgood. Lillie from Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky). She and Tom married in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana on 8/3/1902. They later moved to Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. He died 7/12/1910 in Vigo County, Indiana of tuberculosis, leaving Lillie to raise their two daughters (Thelma and Fleeta). Lillie died of tuberculosis 4/16/1914, leaving the two girls orphans. They were placed in the Rose Hill Orphanage until some of Lillie's family could come to Terre Haute, Indiana. Thelma was taken back, but before they could return to bring Fleeta back, she was adopted by a Brown family in Coles County, Illinois. Fleeta married a man by the last name of Gust and raised a family in Coles County, Illinois until her death in 2/1986. She is buried in Mattoon, Coles County, Illinois beside her husband. Thelma married a William A. Holliger, they raised a family and remained in Louisville until her death in 1985.

This is the only known picture (ca. unknown date) of Amanda Allgood, daughter of George Washington and Lucy Vantine Hall Allgood.
Amanda died roughly in 1894 during a six week time frame that she, her mother, and brother Manley died of tuberculosis. Amanda and Lucy are believed to be buried in GoodHope Cemetery without markers, while Manley has been documented in a newspaper account of dying Oct. 27, 1894 and being buried there. No marker has been found for him.
