Carol,
Thanks so much for the lead to Laurel. She has already written me and we are off on an adventure. She did tell me that Cornelius' wife was Hannah Van Tine and not Nelly Van Tine. This would also agree with my information. In case you have it recorded somewhere, Nelly should be the wife of Abraham Bodine and Hannah the wife of Cornelius Bodine. The gravestones in the Selover Cemetery in Niles also show this:
BODINE Abraham d Oct 8, 1851 ae 83y 11mo 20da
Nelly, w of Abraham d Mar 18, 1848 ae 79y 8mo 20da
Harriet, dau of Abraham & Nelly d Nov 22, 1813/18 ae 20y 6mo
Thanks again for your help and I will keep you in mind if I find things on the Van Tines. Keep me in mind for the Bodines, too.
Take care, Dave -- Dave Bodine Mediterranean Accents Moroccan Handcrafted Products for the Home and Office Dave@MediterraneanAccents.com http://www.MediterraneanAccents.com
