Luta Faye Vantine, my grandaunt, died as Luta Faye Bowler 2/9/1951 in Arcadia, Los Angeles Co. See CA Death Records.Later married John Bowler. Her first husband was Glover E Stith. I see that under Edward Russel Vantine you had a note that you later deleted that mentioned Glover E Stith. When Stith and Luta were married they were quite wealthy and known socialites in LA during the 1920's. They owned the B&M Cafeteria (Better and More). Some of the monogrammed eating utensils are still in the family. She divorced him because he had a lover. No children.

Carol,
I got a surprise when I received Luta Vantine and Glover Stith's wedding license and application. Luta's middle name was Frances and not Faye. They were married December 18, 1906 in Bradley, Kankakee Co., IL.
