Born in Wilton, CT, aged 41 years, 5'5 1/2" high, light complexion, grey eyes, dark hair and by occupation a shoemaker. Died in US Genl Hosp Annapolis, MD, he was married, and he resided in Darien. Captured at St. Johns River, May 19, 1864 or Walaka, Florida. Died of Chronic Diarrhea. Wife not named, but one mention of heirs, not named to receive money due him.
