Chester Boys at Camp Upton

Companies B and C are in France, but not all the boys who went away from Chester with those companies are "over there" for they have weeded them out and put them in different branches of the service which they are best fitted for. Sergeant "Billy" Vantine, the best non-commissioned officer they ever had in Camp Upton, is to be transferred to the Aviation Corps in Mineola, N. Y. Having passed the government examination as a motor mechanic, he is expected to leave soon. Sergeant Vantine was formerly in the Motor Truck Company No. 326.

Private Lenord, of West Philadelphia, will be promoted to a sergeant to fill the vacancy. All the boys that were left behind are well and will be given passes to go to their homes as soon as they are assigned to a company.
