Mary and the three girls are living with Elizabeth (Castner) Vantine in the 1850 NJ Census, but Abraham and John Cosner Vantine are not listed. First I thought that they were the children of Thomas Hartwell but changed that after deciding Thomas Hartwell and the NYC Thomas H. were the same.

• Research Note

I don't know who this Lucia is but I wanted to put her information with the most likely family.

Hi I have Thompson "Thomas" Tilford born November 17, 1830 and died February 06, 1878 in Moniteau County, Missouri. He was married to Lucia "Lucy" Vantine and they had Mary Jane Tilford on September 30, 1872 in Moniteau County, Missouri.
Do these match any of your Tilford's?

Thanks for checking
