Henry Wadworth Longfellow 1807-1882 is buried at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA. A descendant of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins through daughter Elizabeth Pabodie, he was the foremost poet of the 19th century and is known for works such as the Song of Hiawatha and the Courtship of Myles Standish.

Elizabeth Alden c1624-1717 was the daughter of John and Priscilla and the first while girl born in New England. She was the second wife of William Pabodie c1620-1707. They are buried at Old Commons Burial Ground in Little Compton, RI.
