Bloomingdale
From the Friends Church, on Saturday, occurred the funeral
of Mrs. Milton Rubottom of this place. The deceased was 53
years of age and an earnest Christian lady. Her death was
caused by cancer in her breast. Many of her friends wish to
give an expression of tribute, illustrative of her amiable
character, and truly Christian virtues during many years, which
they were prevented from doing publicly, owing to the length of
the funeral sermon.

to destroy her body. Her disease began in violent form, about
the first of last September." She was a good Christian woman.
