In the "Index to Coroner's Record Books, Greene County, MO", pg166, it  lists: Florence Sisson w/o Roy 4/11/1955, age 64.  This is Ray's wife Florence. April 22, 1969 Springfield, MO Leader-Press WILLIAM SISSON  William Sisson, 99 of 740 College, died at 12:45am today in Springfield Osteopathic Hospital.  He has no known survivors.  Funeral arrangements are under direction of Ralph Thieme. According to 1900 Census Canton, Benton, IA Ray was born Nov 1883 and is  16 yrs old.  On his death certificate (info given by land lady, who did  not know that he had been married), he was born Oct 16, 1869, which makes him 99 at his death in 1969.  According to his SSN application, he was  born Nov 19, 1887 and was 56 at his last birthday, when SSN was issued in 1944.  SSNumber matches the one on his death certificate, and SSN appl  gives correct parents names, so it is same person. 				William married Florence BROWN. Florence was born 23 May 1890 in Martinsville, Morgan Co., Indiana. She died 11 Apr 1955 in Springfield, Greene Co., Missouri. EVEN: TYPE Buried PLAC Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, Greene, MO @S16807@ DATA TEXT Hazelwood Cemetery is located on the southwest corner of Glenstone and Seminole on the West side of the National Cemetery.  Florence is not listed in the Cemetery book so probably does not have a stone. According to the Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Director, the arrangements for  Florence's funeral was taken care of by her daughter Mrs. John McGiven of Chicago, IL, even tho Ray was still there at the time. When Florence died they lived at Rt 2 Rogersville, MO Tue April 12, 1955 Springfield, MO Leader-Press MRS. RAY SISSON  Mrs. Florence Sisson, 64, of Rogersville, was pronounced dead on  arrival at Springfield Baptist Hospital yesterday about 5:40pm. She  suffered a heart attack while standing in front of the Hotel Seville, 218 East Walnut.  She is survived by her husband, Ray, and a daughter, Mrs. John McGivern of Chicago.  Funeral arrangements are under direction of Herman Lohmeyer.
