She died 9 Mar 2000 in Columbus, Ohio. Barbara Anne Sisson and her husband Thomas Collins had 2 children. Barbara's obituary: "Belpre - Barbara Collins of Belpre died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at University Hospital, Columbus. She was born July 20, 1935, in Reedsville, daughter of the late Leo and Gladys Sisson. She is survived by her husband, H. Thomas Collins; and [a daughter]. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael. Services will be Sunday, 1 p.m., at Reedsville Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangedments are by White Funeral Home, Coolville."

He died May 1984 in Kennett, Dunklin Co., Missouri. In the 1900 Randolph County census, Noble Howard Sisson's birthdate is given as April 1890. In the SSDI, it is given as Apr. 14, 1891. I am inclined to favor the census record on this, as it also includes Noble's age as 10 and the census was taken in June 1900. The wives of Noble Howard Sisson and of his brothers Edgar and Elmer were each others' first cousins. He died 8 Jul 1983 in Minneapolis, Ottawa Co., Kansas and was buried in Bennington, Ottawa Co., Kansas. Edgar Oscar Sisson was born near Vincennes, Indiana. Some Knox County birth records show his birthdate as Dec. 20, 1892, but he and his family always celebrated Dec. 19. He and his wife Gertrude May Cox first lived in Pocahontas, Randolph Co., Arkansas, and moved to Bennington, Ottawa Co., Kansas, in 1925. He was a farmer and repairman for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was known for his musical talent and his sense of humor. He played bluegrass banjo, guitar, and piano by ear. When he was a boy, his parents' home was flooded several times, as it was situated near the Black River in Arkansas. The family would move up to the second floor and live there until the waters receded. Once when Edgar was sitting on the roof playing his banjo, someone came by in a boat and said, "Put that banjo down!" Edgar replied, "I can't put it down; I'll have to put it up!"

Edgar married Gertrude May COX, daughter of Samuel Green COX and Virginia May HARDIN, on 3 Oct 1915 in Noland, Randolph Co., Arkansas. Gertrude was born 6 Nov 1897 in Noland, Randolph Co., Arkansas. She died 18 Jun 1988 in Minneapolis, Ottawa Co., Kansas and was buried in Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, Ottawa Co., Kansas.

In his mother's Bible, under the listings for births, he is called Benny David, but under the listings for deaths, he is called Benjamin Franklin. In a letter to her nephew in the 1970s, Gertrude called him Benny Samuel. He is buried in Scots Graveyard on the Black River near Pocahontas, Arkansas.
	10358	M	ii	Paul Lafayette SISSON [scrapbook] was born 9 Nov 1918 in Richwoods, Randolph Co., Arkansas. He died 15 Aug 1945 in Japan and was buried 12 Jul 1949 in Section 2, Site 239-C, Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery. Paul Lafayette Sisson was a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force and co-pilot on a B-29 bomber in World War II. He was a member of the James Newell crew, 73rd Wing, 499th Bomb Group, 877th Squadron. The plane was shot down over Osaka on June 26, 1945. Paul died in a POW camp on August 15, 1945. His Purple Heart and Air Medal and the flag that was on his coffin are in the possession of his niece Carol Sisson Regehr.

Besides his first wife Tressie Hardin, Elmer may also have married a Ms. Stiers. Elmer filed for divorce from Tressie in Lawrence Co., AR, Oct. 18, 1925.

He died 11 Dec 1983 in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., Arkansas. Ernest Tooley Sisson served in the US Navy during WWII and achieved the rank of 2nd class Aviation Storekeeper. He went to school on the GI Bill after WWII.  He attended Arkansas State Teachers College at Jonesboro, Arkansas, now Arkansas State University, but graduated from Southwest Missouri State in Springfield with a BA in Science. He taught high school math and science and was a Principal in Annapolis, Missouri. He was qualified to teach most math, science, and industrial arts but taught mostly math.
