Son, Edward Harrison Conroy born in MN in 1874. Harriet filed for divorce in MN in 1878 but judge wouldn't grant divorce. Henry worked for a Railroad company in 1878 in Iowa, was back in MN for divorce hearing and after that his location is unknown. Son, Edward Harrison Conroy married Tina Gatchell in MN and had one son, Edward Alonzo Conroy. They moved to Oregon after 1903 where Edward Harrison Conroy died of injuries from an industrial accident in 1906. Looking for what became of Henry and who his parents were. Family stories say the Conroy's came from Galway, Ireland.

We also think he had a brother named Michael Joseph as he was the god father to my aunt in Brooklyn in 1897. Believe he might of had a sister named Annie,as one of Thomas's children,(my aunt) was Annie and can't account for the name, there were 7 including my father. Thomas married my g.mother Mary Flaherty in Brooklyn, NY in 1889. Their last child was born after Thomas died in a tragic accident in early 1901 on the Brooklyn waterfront. These are their children's names and year of birth. Mary 1889, Thomas 1891,Michael 1892(my father), Nora, 1894,Annie 1895,Margaret 1897, and Joseph 1901. The only 2 that I know that had children were Michael & Nora. Michael,had David & me(Ed), Nora had Theresa & Honora. All are deceased except me.We think my Uncle Thomas might of had a daughter in law or daughter named Helen Conroy and lived somewhere in South Jersey. Recently found Nora's grandchildren, Audrey, Barbara & Cathleen, then Danniel, Irene & Frank, they know next to nothing about our family. If anyone knows of this family please email us. He spent two years near Peekskill, NY after which he settled in Livingston County near Genesee, NY. He married Elizabeth Gibbons on 17 Nov 1859 at Mount Morris, NY. Their first three children were born in New York: Charles, Margaret and Mary Ann. The remainder of Patrick and Elizabeth's children were born in Michigan. They are: Elizabeth, John, James P., Julia, William, and Stella. Patrick was a pioneer farmer of Calhoun County, Michigan. He first came into Battle Creek in the spring of 1865, driving an ox team. He settled on the site of Camp Custer in Bedford Township, but in 1867 he purchased a farm in Marshall Township, five miles southwest of Marshall. The family lived there until he purchased a farm in Emmett Township in 1880. He retired from farming and moved to the village of Ceresco in 1898. Patrick died about 1920 near Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., MI. He was the son of Patrick Conroy and Julia Welch.

They had three children who were born in Vallejo, Solano County: Frank Richard Conroy, born 19 Nov 1870, Edward Victor Conroy, born 12 Apr 1872, and Alice, born about 1876. Johanna died of consumption in 1878 at the home of Margaret (her sister) and James W. Newbert. John Conroy died not quite two years later, in December, 1879, in San Francisco, at age 36. Frank Richard and Alice were adopted by Johanna's sister, Elizabeth, and her husband, Joseph Enright, who already had two children, James W. Enright and Joseph G. Enright, who were born in 1862 and 1866, respectively. Alice later married one G.W. McCarthy. I'm looking for ancestors and descendants of John and Johanna (Williams) Conroy.
