Jane Bradford was born before 1775. Her age in the 1820 census was shown as over 45, so her date of birth is presumed to have been no later than 1775. She appeared in the census on 7 August 1820 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. The only name that appears in 1840 or earlier U.S. federal census records is that of the head of household, with few if any other details on this or any other individuals in the household at the time. Shown in the household are 1 free white male age 10 to 15, 2 free white males ages 16 to 25, 1 free white female age 10 to 15, and one free white female 45 years of age or older. She lived in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio on 7 August 1820. This individual appears not to be connected to anyone else at the time of entry, and was entered to facilitate further research only.  It will be removed from the database at some future time if no connection is found. It might be noted that since this individual we a female head of household, she most likely was a widow or divorcee at the time of the census. Such being the case, then her birth surname was not likely Bradford but any other members of the household who were her children likely were named Bradford.
