She did not suffer, but quietly passed away, dropping into the sleep that knows no waking. Services were conducted by her former pastor Rev. Melvin Ayres, formerly of Benton M. E. Church, but now of Green Springs, with prayer by Rev. Clendenned at the church in Lemert with interment in Benton Cemetery beside the silent tomb of her companion.
