Jacob Loch was born about 1704 in Germany. He immigrated on 3 September 1739. He was the first known member of the Loch family to settle in what is now the United States. Jacob Loch came from Germany (Palatines Imported) on the ship "Friendship" on September 3, 1739, William VITTERY, Commander, from Rotterdam, the last from Doal. One hundred fifty passengers on this ship may have sailed with the
