She was born in Columbiana County, O., and came to Avilla some 45 years ago, residing here ever since. She was prominent in church and civic affairs, being a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and OES. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hess, Kendallville, and Mrs. Rittie Stewart, LaOtto. A brother, Burnie DeHoff, died several years ago. Funeral will be Sunday at the M. E. Church, Rev. J. E. Lawshe officiating. Burial, Avilla Cemetery. (December 1928)

Lovina Cramer, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Homsher, was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, on Dec. 17, 1842 and passed away at her late home April 9, 1925, aged 82 years, 3 months and 22 days. At the age of 6 years, she moved with her parents to the farm south of town, where she resided until her death. On April 15, 1869, she was united in marriage to Harrison Cramer of Swan Twp, Noble County, and to this union were born 8 children, four of whom survive, Mrs. Edward Gump of Avilla, L. A. Cramer of Tulsa, S. D., Addie at home, Joseph of Swan Twp. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Emma Bricker of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Jacob Geiger of Collins; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church since early life where services were held Saturday afternoon. Burial, Bethlehem Cemetery.

E. of Smith Twp, Mrs. Cecil Weirick at home; Mrs. Perry Gordon and Mrs. Oscar Marker, Allen County, and S. A. of Ravenna, Ohio. There are 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ at Collins. Funeral was Thursday at U.B. Church, Churubusco. Burial, Eel River Cemetery.
