In the name of God, Amen.
I, Cathenne Dearduff, of the County of Des Moines and the state of Iowa, being of sound mind and memary and considering the uncertainty of this life, do herby make this my last will and Testament.
First,--after my lawful debts and funeral expences paid, the remainder of my property to be equally divided among my lawful heirs. My body to be buired in a plain and decent manner. My beds and bedding to be sold to the highest bidder and the
proceeds divided among my children. I request my daughteren laws Isabel and Elizabeth Dearduff to have a dress pattern apiece.
I make, constitute and appoint J.L. Hanna to be executor of theis my last Will and Testament.
In witness wherof I have hereunto subscribed my and affixed my name this first day of May A.D. 1868.
