At one time owned as many as 375 acres of land. By 1804, he was the owner of
four horses and six cattle. His will, written on Apr 8, 1806, granted "Maria
Trimmer Dierdorff...the house with its furniture." The house was the small
brick structure bearing the unscription "1776" along the Big Conewago.
Bought 216 acres in Reading Twp., York County, PA. from Daniel Brugh
