I bequeath to my wife Sarah my place or plantation with all furniture, one good horse, 2 cows & as many sheep & hogs as she may think proper out of my stock, during her life or widowhood in lieu of her Dower but if she may marry again I give her one
good bed & bedding, one set of pewter plates that she now claims to be her property, one cow & all the Tea ware, side saddle & bridle; but at expiration of her widowhood that all my personal property may be sold that may not be claimed by my wife.
I do order that Charles, Samuel, Elias, John, Jacob and Benjamin each to one dollar out of proceeds of my personal property if there be any balance it is to be equally divided amongst my daughters than living as far as $20.00 each if there be so
much - if there should still an over-plus it is to be equally divided amongst all my children then living.
I order my books divided equally among children than living.
I appoint my sons Joseph & James Curl & Jacob Painter my true executors.
