According to Ms Mann:

"With the information sent by Erma (DeVore) Ferguson, there were enough clues to help Sherwood Snyder III and Kathy DeVore to connect with this family.  Together we have complied this line from various bits and pieces.  A more thorough check on facts and definite proof is needed."

The donor for this line is a cousin of Kathy's.  Per Ms. Mann's book his line is as follows:

H9. John DeVore b. ca 1790 m. _ Came from Hampshire Co. Va. (now West Va.).  He had one know son: H91. John DeVore, JR

H91. John DeVore Jr. b. 7 March 1799/1800. d. 8 Sept 1828 buried Earley Cemetery, Guernsey Co., Ohio.

        m. Mary Catlett b. 18 May 1786 PA  d. 2 Feb 1872, buried Earley Cemetery, Guernsey Co., Ohio.

They came to Tuscarawas or Harrison Co., Ohio about 1822 by way of Perryopolis, Fayette Co., PA.  Then later on to Guernsey Co, Ohio.
