Isaiah's obit, per Marilyn Eldridge:
Green, Isaiah - b. in Jefferson Co., IN, January 18, 1849 and departed this life at the home of his daughter in Newton, August 16, [1926] aged 77 years, 7 months and 28 days. He came to Illinois when yet a young man and grew up near the village of Watson in Effingham County. He was married to Elizabeth Hardy on August 15, 1868 and to this union were born nine children, viz: Willie, Christalenia, John Nora, Fred, Ambrace, Janie, Grover, and Wiley. The children all lived to reach manhood and womanhood, yet seven of them and their mother preceded Mr. Green in death. Surviving are Mrs. W.G. (Christalenia) Tate of Newton and John Green of West Liberty. They also survive, one brother John Green of Urbana, sister Mrs. Walter Lancaster of Newton, half-brother Dillard Green of Canada, two half-sisters Mrs. Abi McCormick and Mrs. Delphi Clagg, fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends ... member of the Baptist Church ... Funeral services were conducted at the Bogota Baptist church Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Phillips of near Sailor Springs. Internment was at the Tate Cemetary.

Notes for E

I believe the five youngest children, Frederick, Jennie, Grover, Wiley and Ambrose all died about the same time from the same disease, possibly Tuberculosis. Along with their oldest brother WIlliam, they are all buried in Tae Cemetary in Bogota. Jim and Betty Fasnacht DeVore made a concrete plate that says Green to go between their graves. Each of their names is etched by hand on a flat stone.
