This elaborate monument with  bronze angel occupies an extensive corner of the graveyard.
It commemorates the Browne family.		 It is unfortunate that this lettering style, relief characters with the background cut away, can hardly be read today.  (see below)
This monument to the Smith family, although nearly hidden by the yew tree, is easily read. The lettering comprises lead characters fixed to a marble slab carved as a scroll.
