Duncan plus interest from 20 Nov. 1819, being the sum collected by Charles Y. Duncan as sheriff of Daviess Co. on an execution from Nelson Circuit Court against John Bolds in favor of said George Peak; whereof the said Duncan was convict? as appears of record which execution was made returnable 24 Feb., delivered into hands of said John Cannady, then levied on estate of said Charles Y. MO; that (blank date) said Samuel Duncan purchased of John Rowan, exec., 200 acres and by purchase became entitled to another tract of 100 acres formerly purchased from the exec. by Charles Y. Duncan, both tracts in Daviess Co. KY on the Ohio River, part of a tract of 8,000 acres in the name of George Mason; Samuel Duncan and Charles Y. Duncan had paid to the exec. $700 (blank date) and said Samuel Duncan became entire owner of the tract of 100 acres sold to Charles Y. Duncan, and by decision of the Superior Court of the US, said Duncan lost the land, and in remuneration in part, the following land is conveyed by valuation of Capt. James W. Johnson and Col.
