      Pgs.124-128 contain an article about William Linn of Ste.Genevieve and Perry Cos. MO and Fayette Co. IL, by Phyllis J. Bauer, assisted by Norman R. Peters. "This article first appeared in the surname quarterly 'Lynn/Linn Lineage,' Vol.VII, No.1 - Spring 1993." Among other things, the article says that William Linn of Ste.Genevieve married Polly Ann Duncan of Cape Girardeau, about the end of 1819, and refers to tax lists in Perry Co. MO from 1819 to 1826. The article says that Polly Ann Duncan was the sister of Joseph Duncan, Governor of Illinois 1834-1838, and that the Linns lived in or near Vandalia, Fayette Co. IL, when William died in 1847. The article has much more about their family and lives, and lists sources.
