15 March 2003, beginning of Spring Break, went up to Dewey Bald cache - first placed just a year ago this week - and replaced the box and cleaned out/up the contents. Also took some new photos from the Tower, including the progress on Celebration City, opening later this Spring 2003, where the Mutton Hollow park used to be. Silver Dollar City is billing it along with Silver Dollar City as: "City Days, City Nights." We're supposed to go here, Celebration City, at night! Big wooden roller coaster and streets of different periods of the 20th Century.

In addition, Happy Hopper I, the Travel Bug, was exterminated by bull-dozers at the Mitchellville rest stop along Interstate 80 in Iowa. Used the COPY tag to create a new, "revitalized" Happy Hopper I with a light green rubber plastic frog - out of focus photo here:

The new cache box with the Travel Bug on top (old round one nearby my jacket and bag):

Branson from the tower, one level below the top:

Branson water tower to left of center; Celebration City in right half of photo

Panning a little to right, to get Celebration City in full view:

Panning a little further right:

Perhaps 90 to 100 degrees further right, the Shepherd of the Hills Tower:

Tower looks a lot closer in real life. Should have used zoom, but forgot!

Took a couple others aroung the horn, but don't add anything. Most trees!

Had a great hike, fixed box, placed Travel Bug, updated photos. Great day!

About high 60s, perhaps 71 (per Weather Channel)

Daffodils blooming in back of Cabin:

These are on left side of stream, in back; more on right side:

Not in bloom around tree in front of cabin, but tree is in full bud, also:
