The William Z. and Ruth (Roberts) Schwyhart family

William and Ruth had four known children. William and Ruth were married on 21 Dec 1843, in Guernsey Co, OH. In the 1860 census, they appeared in the census, he 59, she 41, in Bokes Creek Twp, Logan Co, OH.

Their children:

1. Marion S. (M.S.) Schwyhart (b. 10 May 1845, OH) first married Jane Bush; they had 7 known children. On 21 Mar 1912, in Gallatin, Daviess Co, MO, he married a Miss Swofford. He served as a "capable and well known police judge of Gallatin." A written bio of him has provided more information on this family.

2. Landon Schwyhart (b. May 1845, OH - appears to be a twin of Marion)

3. Henry Schwyhart (b. 1847, OH; d. before 1922) [Question: is this the Henry Schwyhart who married Harriett Fields, or not? Some controversy exists...]

4. Arminda (Armanda) Schwyhart (b. 1852, OH; d. after 1922 - Marion's sketch says she is "living in Los Angeles, CA"). The 1930 census, for Rushsylvania, Rushcreek Twp, Logan Co, OH, has Arminda Schwyhart, 79, Widowed, b. OH, living alone. More details needed. THANKS!
