These pages are concerned with the Moore family ancestors of Clara Edith (Belle) Moore(#1089)(1900 - 1948), Jeanne's (Meyer) Eversole's mother.

Clara's father was John Scott Moore (#1093)(1868 - 1943) who married Aurelia Bertha Curtis (#1200) (1870-1942)

Cheryl (Curtis) Smith has traced this Moore line back to William Moore #1 (1807-1883) and possibly to James Moore, Gov. of South Carolina in 1700. The O'Morda or Mordha clan originated in Ireland.
