I am Elaine, wife, mother and doctoral student at the University of Oklahoma. I teach in the Mathematics Department while working on my doctoral program in Math Education. I teach two different mathematics courses for elementary preservice teachers. I love to read science fiction, quilt, do jigsaw puzzles and genealogy. |

My husband, Larry, is retired from 22 years in the Air Force, which brought us to Oklahoma, and allowed me to go back to school. Larry is currently working for International Environmental Corporation , an industrial fan-coil manufacturer. He misses scuba diving but enjoys long bike rides. |

We have five children, four sons and a daughter. Mike is 26 and living in North Carolina. He is the operations manager for a consortium of theatres and playhouses. He also serves in the Marine Corps. He is an Eagle Scout and spent nine summers at Goshen Scout Reservation in Virginia. |

Jeff, 23, is at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Anthropology. He volunteers at the Sam Noble Natural History Museum to reassemble small skeletons. He is also an Eagle Scout and has spent his summers at Goshen Scout Reservation as the director of Ecology and Scoutcraft. He is engaged to be married when they graduate in May 2003. |

Doug, 17, is a senior in high school, and sings in the Concert, Chamber, and Jazz Choirs. Doug is also an Eagle Scout; for his project he built a new enclosure at the Little River Zoo for the coyotes Wally and Sally. Doug spends his summers on the aquatic staff at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch. |

Greg, 12, is our youngest and is in fifth grade. He loves to read, play Legos, and computer games. He is a Boy Scout and just can't wait to be an Eagle Scout like his big brothers. Greg is playing piano, and hopes to start percussion thist year. |
