Redmon, Frances (b. ABT 1824, d. BET 1879 AND 1900)
Note: When old Elijah made he guardian ship bonds for the six children of John doesn't mean that the mother was deceased, but probably unable due to circumstances was unable to have "legal" control of property. It wasn't until Elijah died in early 1863 that Francis applied and got guardianship papers. In that paper Francis was referred to as "Natural Guardian" Which could mean she was the natural mother. All this is circumstantial evidense, similare to Adolphus and D.E. being the same person. Also I don't think it is co-incidental that Francis, her Mother and aunt wound up in Blount Co., Alabama, as well as Florence. David Hanson was there too, and so was Dice M. and Zack living next door to each other. (e-mail from Harold W. Cochran, July 14, 1998)
