I found your family on ancestry.com and believe that your Georgia Sticher is sister to my great great grandfather Thomas Peek/Peak. Georgia Ann Peek b. Nov 1856 m. 1st George Aderholt and 2nd Pulaski Stricher b. 1835 MA. I have the children by her marriage to Aderholt, but nothing on the children with Stricher. Since you do not list her maiden name I'm assuming you don't know that she was a Peek/Peak? Please let me hear from you.

I found his birthplace from a publication by Reba Neighbors-Collins, who states her source as the Peek family bible. It appears in an addedum she wrote to a book called "History of the Janes-Peek Family. In the book, two of the children you list with the name of Pulaski, she lists as being the children of her first husband Aderhold. ( I can't think of them at the moment, but believe it is the first two listed by you on ancestry.com) Might be nice to sort it all out. Do you know where Georgia and her family moved to after their marriage and where the descendants are today? It is believed, but not yet proven, that the Peek's descend from the one time neighbors of George and Martha Washington. They are mentioned many times in their diaries and went to George's funeral. Georgia's father was John Peek who m. Louisa Pollard who was the son of Henry Peek who m. Sarah Jemima Elizabeth Phelps and he was the son of Capt. William Peek who m. Tabitha O'Neal (both this Wm and his son Henry were Revolutionary War Soldiers.) Dr. Collins who wrote the above mentioned book descends from a line of Peek's who we can prove no connection, but believe there is one. She connects to the Robert Peake who entered the U.S. abt. 1635 in VA. aboard the Hopewell? (I don't recall just now so don't quote me on that one).

Looks like your records were correct as they stood and that I misread my own information. You mention some of them being born in Maryland. Did Georgia and Pulaski return to Maryland from GA?
