Hi,
I just located your file G1003 on the internet and wondered if you had
any more information. If my information is correct, I believe I have
located my great grandmother, Eliza Lanier b. 1859, parents were unknown
to me however you have John Lanier and Margaret Hogans. Would you
happen to know if Eliza Lanier m.1) John James Bronson 2) Columbus
Stephen "Steve" Acree? I'm fairly new at genealogy and am trying to
determine if I have the right Eliza. If I'm right I'd be happy to share
anything I have with you. Here are some of the lines I'm working on:
Yates, Arnold, Sullivan, Bronson, Lanier, Montsdeoca, Padgett, Lamb. I
noticed in your source information a reference to Lanier by Louise
Ingersoll. Is this a book and if so do you know where I could purchase
it? I have a friend who is searching for a Patience Lanier that might be
in the 1870 cencus of Bullock Co., GA. Thanks for your help.

Chris,
Thanks for the Bronson names, just have to figure out who the J. A. is as I
have a James Albert married to Mary Reaves and a James Alfred married to
Margaret Rushing.

You wrote today:

No, I saw the original post but it looks as though Lois has made notes and
just sent it to you, not the list.

I haven't done a lot of real serious research on the Lanier's, been working
on the Bronson's and Yates mainly. For what it's worth, here are my notes
indicated with ***'s.

Hello, I am Nancy Tolley, John Lanier and Sarah Caroline Roland, are my
ggggrandparents, Lottie Lee is my gggrandmother. I saw on the
ancestry.com that you are a contributor, and so I down loaded the
information but could not find out how you know about John Lanier and
Sarah Caroline, being married and the dates and that they had a
daughter, I have searched high and Low and this was the only place I had
found the information, I have handwritten family records that show
Lottie being born to those two, but not any marriage date for her
parents so this was a wonderful find, But I was wondering where you got
the information and if you would be willing to give to me, so I could
complete my family record for this family.
Lottie Lee Lanier Married James Platt in Kissimmee Florida, and moved to
Pinto Washington County Utah. They had 8 Children my grandmother being
the oldest.
My grandmother Vivian Lee Platt Married Bryon Machyle Sorensen, they had
1 child my mother Marilyn Sorensen, she married Gerald B. Riley, and
they have 3 girls I am the oldest. Nancy Lee, Carrie Kay, Paulette Ann.
My Grandparents Div. and married other people, my Grandmother had 2
other children from that marriage, Ilene Fransworth and Linda Lee
Fransworth, so there a lot of us, plus my grandmothers bro and Sister
and there family. I have contacted Carol Middleton and they where not
aware of this family line at all. So any information that you have would
be wonderful. Thank You Nancy Tolley.
