Hello, I was wondering if you would share any information that you may have on Samuel Shannon b. 1769 d. 1852 and married Sarah or Sally Kennedy. They had several children, one of them being Leonard. I am a descendant of Leonard's and have some information myself, would love to share it.

OK, thanks so much!! This is what I know. Samuel Shannon, Jr b. 2/17/1769 in PA, d.8/12/1852 . Married Sarah Kennedy on 8/8/1796 in Oglethorpe Co, GA. Leonard was born in Franklin County, GA in 1814, he married a Charlotte Brawner. Do not have a death date on Leonard. Then in the 3rd generation, Leonard had (in order of age):

James Davenport Shannon (my gg grandfather) b. 10/18/1837 d.9/8/1910
John M
William D
Mary
Jesse F
Sarah B
Samuel W
O-? (could not make out name in census)

James Davenport Shannon married Amelia Ann Bell and had the 4th generation:
