Mary Emma PLATT died 20 January 1979 at the age of 91, permit #4641. Leo W. Engelhardt Funeral Home was in charge. Walter was a son of Radford and married Mrs. Emma Douglas 30 January 1914 (Lee Co Mrgs 3-162).

FORT MYERS NEWS-PRESS, Monday, January 22, 1979: Mary Emma Platt, 91, of North Fort Myers died Saturday. She is survived by one daughter, Ruby Lee Brannen of North Fort Myers. Garveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fort Myers Cemetery with the Rev. Rea Means officiating. Memorials may be made to the Bayshore Chapel. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Leo w. Engelhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
