Nice to hear from you. Where do you live now. I live in Coffeyville,
Kansas. Been here for 18+ years. Jon (husband) is New Product Engineering
Manager at Funk Manufacturing Co. (owned by John Deere) We have 2 kids -
Wayne and Kris. Kris is 33 and is married to ER doctor in Sulphur Springs,
Tx. She has a son by previous marriage and they have Jacey Lynn l l/2 years
old and she is quite a girl. Terry's daughter by previous marriage also
lives with them so they have an active household. We have a Cessna l82 -
so obviously flying is our hobby. We also enjoy fishing and going over to
Beaver Lake by Eureka Springs which is fairly close to Wayne and family. I
am currently enjoying some sewing for the 2 grand daughters and other items.
We also enjoy woodworking - which is a relatively new interest. Jon will be
retiring in about 5 years so we are practicing what to do in our spare time.
Several years ago we drove to Alaska with another couple (they have a
Suburban) and fell in love with the scenery. Looking at pickup truck style
campers, want a diesel dually l ton. I always say the day he retires we are
heading to Alaska for a long vacation in our camper. We also hunt (yes, me
too) and have a spoiled Labrador retriever - Captain - aptly named. I am
looking for pictures and info etc. and will fill you in when I get anything
together. My Mom and Dad did not see too much of his family for whatever
reasons I do not remember. I do remember - Marie and Mac (MacCasland) They
had Ila and a son, don't recall his name. Oliver and Myrtle, daughter
Marlene and also a son. Bertha and family I think lived near Muncie, Ind.

Speagle, Margaret Barbara (b. 28 JUN 1841, d. 3 SEP 1911)
Note: September 7, 1911 (Thursday) - The Southern Democrat
Mrs. Margatette Cornelius mother of Mrs. D.D. Head, of this place died at her home at Five Points on Sunday morning; She has been suffering with heart trouble several months and it was this that caused her death. She was 70 years of age, having celebrated her birthday on June 28th. SHe was a member of the Primitive Baptist church, a chirstian whose sincerity was never doubted; she was always found in her place doing her duty as she saw in the church and in the community. She leaves two daughters and four sons to mourn her death. The internment took place at the family cemetery near her home, the services being conducted by Rev. Joseph Herring.
