Hi, I am responding to information on the Morman site regarding the above. I
downloaded the info but for some reason have not been able to get it. It
stayed on my computer about a week, with no success in reading it and
finally it was gone. I am most anxious to see the info - I am a greatgrand
daughter of WHW and Charlotte Baker, and trying to unravel many questions,
as some of the children attributed to him are definetly not Charlotte's -
she would have been only nine yrs. old. Please, if you can, I would
appreciate the info. I am named for Charlotte, as was my mother. If the
file is too large, my snail mail address is 100 Chatwick Court, Sumter,
South Carolina 29150-4149. I would be more than happy to pay for any costs.
Except for my immediate family, I know of no one else who are descendants.
It would be great if I could finally uncover something. I have been trying
real hard to determine if there is any family connection to
Witherspoons...there is just enough evidence to hope!

Hello Another Baker tidbit. Selina Hickson that married James M.
Baker was the daughter of Reuben Hickson and Ester.

John Baker bought the Hickson plantation. around the time that James
would have married Selina, he gave it to James M. Baker.

fyi, Richard F. Hickson married Rebecca Timmons from Darlington
County.
