My King's are from the same Carroll Co., GA. In fact many of them including
my parents still live in the area. My parents live in Bremen, Ga. right
next to Carroll Co. Most of Martin and Polly's grandchildren live there
too. I believe it is the same line with a few middle name differences.
Your Polly W. Williams...my Polly Ann Williams; your Martin Ambrose...my
Martin Ambus; Your Matilda Charity...my Chirty (my mom doesn't spell very
well...but I think that is what my Mamaw called her and this would have been
Mamaw's grandmother). Also we have some of the descendants in different
places. I will double check my mom's source and if need be I will call
Mamaw to verify the information (she is the daughter of Leon Martin King son
of Martin Ambus (Ambrose).
Thanks for the quick reply. I will let you know what I find out. If you
are in that area of the country I could probably put you in contact with a
few people who could answer your questions.
