Hi!
You don't know me. My name is Jill. I've been spending hours looking up
family history on Ancestry.com, and I wanted to thank you personally. I've
waited 2 years to make some kind of sense of the information that my
grandmother(84) has given me. Her memory fails her and the only other
member of the family that would have any knowledge of the lineage died a
year ago!
With that in mind, I had a family lineage given to me. The family name is
Ribblet or Ribblett to some. The Conners are linked to the Ribblets by a
couple of different people. For a very long time, we were missing Francis
Drummond and John Conner. I was finally able to make the connection because
of your information!!! You have no idea how excited we all were! They
were a missing link to my grandmother.
I went back and looked at all the information on their children. I notice
that Abner has somewhat of a prolific clan, but there is nothing for John
Jr. Do you have ANY idea of whom he married or any children involved???
You see, I went down Abner's tree and found that the Conners that married
into my family don't match any of his, but my family swears that Francis
Drummond and John Conner are the ancestors. John would be the only one I
can think of, unless Aaron Conner had any children.
I'm sorry to be so confusing! It's just that I've come so close to the
whole picture, and I would love to be able to tell my grandmother who the
link is. She isn't getting any younger! If you have any kind of info. or
any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you for all the joy you've brought us!
Sincerely,
Jill R. Haack
