Recently I found where you were descended from Isaac and Mary Jones
Blackwood---I believe I am also but not in the way people have come to
believe-----my gggrandfather was Isaac Blackwood who was married to
Rhody (a)----I know for sure they have several children born in TN---2
or 3 daughters and for sure William Blackwood (b 1829)
James (b1831--one of my gggrandfathers) and Isaac Newton----I know for
sure they were born in Humphrey's Co----it is on their CW records and
also my Anthony Fraley family was also in the same neighborhood and they
all migrated to So IL about the same time and Anthony and Amy (Hurd)
Fraleys daughter Maria(h) married my other gggrandfather---Richard who
was also a son of Isaac and Rhody's. I have no idea how to even go
about it but my Isaac was born about 1800----I think there is a
possiblity that the Isaac found in Rowan Co and then TN that married
Mary Jones may have been married before and his wife died and my Isaac
was either grown or raised by someone else----your Isaac was not real
young when he married Mary Jones so it is the only thing that makes
sense at least right now. My Isaac left Humphrey Co around 1835 and
they migrated to So IL where they remained and are still there. It is
hard to track the Blackwood's since so many of the names are the
same---James, etc.---I would love to hear from you----maybe you can help
me---thanks for your time and help---Mary
