to the Reunion. I am enjoying looking at your Web
site again tonight and so appreciate all the great work you have
done on it.
You asked about information about Rose Hill.
Rev Cornelius Henderson was raised in Rose Hill. He as an
outstanding Christian man, a Methodist preacher and man of God who
was elected Bishop in the church. I heard him preach shortly
after he was elected Bishop in the UM church. He was a
dynamic preacher of the gospel. He died a few years ago.
In part of his testimony that night he mentioned
that he was raised in Porterdale and in the Rose Hill section. I did
not get to talk with him to tell him I was also raised in
Porterdale but did talk briefly with two Black ladies who has
been his teachers and were sitting near me in the church in Atlanta.
