Miscellaneous references to various forms of our surname - Provided by Linda Harwell
These are photocopies of the front pages of the Bible owned by James
Feagins, my great-great grandfather. This Bible has notations which gave
crucial data in the origins of William Feagins, his father. William is where
information on our Feagins family line ran out - we found his mother, first
name Margett, but that's it. Many people in our family have been looking for
many years. Probably will not find the answer, as records prior to William's
birth year of 1770 were not well preserved. There are still some records in
the National Archives and in some Court houses that are not yet published in
the public domain, so I'm going to keep looking.
